Field & Nowak, Inc. was established by James E. Egan in 1872 as
J. E. Egan & Company. On April 1, 1917 the name was changed to
Egan, Field & Nowak, Inc. Our founding fathers,
James Egan,
Clarence Field and Otto
Nowak believed in utilizing our history, qualified personnel and
technology to provide professional solutions to complex Land Surveying
issues.
The
publication City Business listed Egan, Field & Nowak,
Inc. as the 13th oldest business in Minnesota. Decades of reputable
surveys have made us the benchmark in the surveying profession.

Field & Nowak, Inc. is a Project Manager based company. Each project
regardless of size is assigned to a single Project Manager. This provides
the client with a single point of contact for their project. From
proposal to final invoice this system lets us understand the needs
of our client and allows us to anticipate the customers needs
and requirements. Our business philosophy is that by building relationships
with our clients we understand our clients goals and they become our
goals.

single Production Manager is assigned the task of insuring that deadlines
committed to are met. Many of our staff are cross-trained in both
field and office operations. This allows us the ability to direct
resources in various sectors of the company dependent upon work-load
and commitments.
